Increasing Awareness and Recognition of ADHD in Girls
I am passionate and committed to changing the narrative surrounding girls and women with ADHD by promoting earlier identification through implementation of the most recent evidence-based research.
I am grateful to work with a wonderful team as the website content coordinator at Duke Center for Girls and Women with ADHD.

Removing DEHP from Medical Devices and Products
My DNP project at Duke was a health policy analysis of Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) in medical devices and products.
Widespread use of DEHP persists despite growing evidence of its pervasiveness as an environmental contaminant and various health risks (i.e., endocrine disruption, reproductive harm, cancer risk, and obesity).

Global Medical Outreach
My specialty certificate from Duke in Global Health allows me to build on previous outreach experiences in Honduras, Haiti, Costa Rica, and Mexico.
As a pediatric nurse practitioner, I am adept at providing culturally responsive care to children and families in resource-limited settings through collaborative global medical outreach. These experiences strengthened my commitment to equity, prevention, and systems-informed approaches to advancing child and planetary health.
